No. You have to play Challenge mode with a GD-ROM disc.

yeah, I've had some experience with c-mode, as Ive played with Gilg and Wing as well as Evilmag and Saffo lol, even did a few stages with Ives, though I cant say I've played it fairly recently, I've beaten twice though, both srank, as well as a third run that didnt get to finish once we got to c9 unfortunately, once I get my backups working correctly I wouldn't mind another run, and of course, the srank is always nice too XD
