Altimira Commands
- /save [slot] -- Save the current character data to the server for backup purposes. [slot] is required and can be between 1 and 4 (inclusive). This command can only be executed in a lobby and not in a team.
- /restore [slot] -- Restore the character data from the given slot on the server (saved previously with /save). [slot] is required and can be between 1 and 4 (inclusive). This command can only be executed in a lobby and not in a team. You must immediately quit the game in order for the restored character to become permanent. Be careful when using this command on PSO PC, as the game may complain that your character is damaged after you perform a restoration. If you get such an error, you may be able to fix it by using the Dressing Room.
- /enablebk -- Enable automatic character backups for all characters with your current Guild Card number. Once you use this command, the server will automatically save a backup of your character every time you enter a team. The backups created with this command are separate from the backups created with the /save command, and only one backup per character is created. Every time you enter a team, the backup for that character is updated with your character's current parameters. The benefit of this command is that backups happen automatically, so you don't need to remember to update your backups with the /save command. This command is only available if you have an account on the Sylverant website, have registered your serial number and access key to the website, and have used /login on the server before using /enablebk. This means that DC users with shared serials cannot use this command. After you use this command for the first time, you no longer need to use /login or use /enablebk: automatic backups will always be created until you disable them.
- /restorebk -- Restore a character using the last save data created with the /enablebk command. Your character will be restored with the same data you had the last time you entered a team. As with the /restore command, you must quit the game immediately for the restored character to become permanent. This command is only available in a lobby and not in a team. As with the /restore command, be careful when using this command on PSO PC, as the game may complain that your character is damaged after you perform a restoration. If you get such an error, you may be able to fix it by using the Dressing Room.
- /disablebk -- Disable automatic character backups for all characters with your current Guild Card number. As with the /enablebk command, you must use /login before using this command.
- /minlvl [level] -- Set the minimum required level for the current team. [level] is required and must be greater than or equal to the standard minimum level required for the current difficulty setting (20 for Hard, 40 for Very Hard, and 80 for Ultimate). This command only affects new clients attempting to enter the team and will not kick any current players from the team if they do not meet the new minimum level requirement. This command can only be executed in a team (not in a lobby) and is only available to the current leader of the team.
- /maxlvl [level] -- Set the maximum allowed level for the current team. [level] is required and must be greater than or equal to the minimum level for the team. This command only affects new clients attempting to enter the team and will not kick any current players from the team if they do not meet the new maximum level requirement. This command can only be executed in a team (not in a lobby) and is only available to the current leader of the team.
- /bstat -- Display the number of users and teams present on your current block. This command is available in both lobbies and teams.
- /arrow [colornumber] -- Set the arrow above your head in the lobby (0 = off, max is 10).
- /lname [new team name] -- Set a new name for your current team. Only the team leader can use this command.
- /passwd [new team password] -- Set a new password for your current team. Only the team leader can use this command. Using the /passwd command without specifying a new password will remove the team's current password (if any) and set the team as unlocked.
- /bug -- Send the user information about how to report a bug.
- /legit -- This command is only available in teams and triggers a legit check on the whole team. If all current team members pass the check (according to the rules on the server), the legit flag is set on the team, which makes it so that any new player who tries to enter the team must pass the legit check as well. This command can only be used by the team leader.
- /normal -- Undo the /legit command, if the flag actually got set on the team. This command can only be used by the team leader.
- /friendadd [guildcard] [nickname] -- Add a user to your friend list. The nickname is for convenience so you know who someone is, even if they're playing with a new character.
- /frienddel [guildcard] -- Remove a user from your friend list.
- /friends [page] -- Show your friend list, including each person's online/offline status. Each page is 5 entries long and is sorted by the friend's Guild Card number. [page] is 0-based, so /friends 0 will show the first 5 people in your list.
- /v1only -- Make a team only available to PSOv1 players. Use "/v1only off" to undo this. This command can only be used by the team leader.
- /dconly -- Make a team only available to players on the Dreamcast. Use "/dconly off" to undo this. This command can only be used by the team leader.
- /allowgc -- Make a DC/PC team visible to Gamecube clients (who must also use the /showdcpc command to see the team). Note that having Gamecube players in the same game as DC/PC players is hackish at best at the moment, and I won't be responsible if anyone loses character data over it. Use "/allowgc off" to undo the command. This command can only be used by the team leader.
- /showdcpc -- This command only works for Gamecube clients and allows them to see DC/PC teams that have the flag set to allow Gamecube users to join. Once again, this support is largely untested and probably will break things. Use at your own risk! Use "/showdcpc off" to undo this command.
- /ll -- This command lists all the players in the current lobby in a large message window. This command will not work on PSOGC due to the fact that that version doesn't support the large message window packet. For non-GMs, this command will list the slot number and the name of the character (if any) in that slot. For GMs, this will also list the player's guildcard number.
- /ignore [client id] -- Ignore any sort of communications from the specified user. You can ignore up to 10 people this way. Ignored users are stored per block and per session, so changing blocks or logging off will clear your ignore list. You can use /ll to get the user's client id.
- /unignore [slot] -- Removes an entry from your ignore list. When using the /ignore command, it reports the entry number that it put the user in, and that entry number is the argument here. Valid values are from 0-10.
- /npc [npc_type],[client_id],[follow_id] -- This command will spawn an NPC partner to keep you company and fight with you. This command is only valid in teams with one player and in normal freeplay mode. Using this command will lock the team, and nobody else will be allowed to join (as NPCs only work properly in single-player games). The [npc_type] parameter specifies the NPC that will appear. Valid values range from 0-63. The [client_id] parameter specifies which slot the NPC will get. Valid values are from 0-3, and the slot must be unoccupied currently. If you specify the same slot you've previously summoned an NPC to, it will overwrite the old NPC. The [follow_id] parameter should be left alone for now. Both [client_id] and [follow_id] are optional, and if you don't want to specify them you don't have to (leave out the commas as well). If you want to spawn multiple NPCs, you will need to specify the [client_id] parameter for each of them. 0 = red, 1 = green, 2 = yellow, 3 = blue, for reference. Note that the parameters are separated by a single comma, no spaces!
- /quit -- A lazy man's command to log off the server, in case it's easier at a given point in time to type that than to go through the menus to quit.
- /cc [specialcharacter] -- Enable colour chat. The "special character" can be any character you want to type to talk in colours. When talking, the special character must be followed by a capital letter "C", and then the code for the desired colour. For example, type "/cc #" to make the hash symbol the special character, and then type "#C1hi" to say "hi" in blue. Valid colour codes are 0 = black, 1 = blue, 2 = green, 3 = cyan, 4 = red, 5 = purple, 6 = yellow, 7 = white, 8 = pink, G = flashing gold. Punctuation marks produce various translucent colours that are not cross-platform compatible. Other values produce invisible text. Use "/cc off" to disable colour chat.
- /ver -- Display the revision number of the current ship.
- /search [guildcard #] -- Perform a Guild Card search on the specified Guild Card number. If the user is online, the magnifying glass will appear on the screen as though the user's actual Guild Card had been searched.

Since edits don't cause bumps, I'm going to start posting replies as new commands are added. The server now supports colour chat. Whee!

Am i just blind or is the command to show the friend list hidden too well.
If someone wants to be intelligent, just try /list and smile *g*

Re: Altimira Commands
There is no command to show the friendlist. Currently, you can only do so from the Sylverant website by logging in there.
/list certainly will not do what you want, as its a GM-only command.

Re: Altimira Commands
I did ask BlueCrab to add a command to show the friend list, but since it's stored on the shipgate to make it global across all ships, it's more difficult to display a message showing which users are online when you're in the game already. That's the price we pay for having a single list across all our characters and all ships, I guess.

Re: Altimira Commands
Sylverant now has a command to display your friend list from within PSO. See the first post for details.

It was a pain to write the code for too.Moopthehedgehog wrote:YES!!!!!!!!!!

Global broadcast. Like a global message, but to all ships (at least those that are up-to-date, so for the moment Iselia and Altimira). Obviously, only available to those with Global GM privileges. But, I saw on the sylverant mainpage a /gbc command. What does that do?

I know I was.BlueCrab wrote:Sorry if you were expecting some magical Game Boy Color emulator or something.![]()

It's like /bcast, except the server message is visible on every ship, not just the ship where the GM is. We can now spam server messages to everybody, which is clearly awesome.

I could start listing the GM commands here, but I haven't bothered so far since they won't do most people any good.

Well, you can spam them to any ships that are up-to-date. Until Vega gets updated, nobody there will see the messages.Aleron Ives wrote:I know I was.BlueCrab wrote:Sorry if you were expecting some magical Game Boy Color emulator or something.![]()

Actually, I haven't tested to make sure they go to all ships yet either, although they should, as it at least gets reflected back to the ship that the message was sent from...
Re: Altimira Commands
Is there gonna be a /item command only for GMs?
Better not be.
If there is brb asking Ives to /item me a 300% hit Yas 9000 with 60 Native and 60 Dark. 8D

We have some pretty amusing commands too... Here's a list of some, without any context as to what they do:
- /kill
- /warp
- /teleport
- /forgegc
- /invuln
- /inftp
- /smite
- /stfu
/smite is particularly amusing.

Dang... That was actually the first thing that came to my mind when I read that (...ok, well, at least "GameBoy Color" did).
/forgegc? Sounds like H4X0rZ language to me...
Also, lol @ /stfu

Re: Altimira Commands
Add /ver to the list (granted, Altimira doesn't have this command just yet, although it will the next time I restart it).
EDIT: Since Altimira got restarted today, it does actually have this command now.
- /ver -- Show the SVN revision of the ship you're currently on.
EDIT: Since Altimira got restarted today, it does actually have this command now.
Re: Altimira Commands
/search [guildcard #] has been added (although the ship still needs restarting).
The /search command lets you search for somebody if you know his Guild Card number, but you don't have his actual Guild Card. Who knows, it may be somewhat useful for people who post their Guild Card numbers on their forum profiles in the hopes that people will say hi in the game.

Re: Altimira Commands
I forgot to add /enablebk, /restorebk, and /disablebk to the list, so that's fixed now.

Re: Altimira Commands
with /enablebk all my data is save and if have troubles with my pc can restore all data?
Re: Altimira Commands
No, only your inventory items are saved. You need to back up your save files if you want to do a full restoration later.

Re: Altimira Commands
I've already talked about this other times and I'll talk again Lol but wouldn't it be possible for you to bring the native NPCS that always existed so that they work at least in Altimira?I don't understand why they deleted this code from the server... considering that the sonic, tails, ninja, tyrell skins were much prettier than the original clothes of the selectable characters :p
