Taking screenies!

How do you take screenshots while playing pso? I don't know how, but someone here does... *winks at stasher*

LOL! I just hit the "Print Screen" button on my keyboard. I see the flash and hear the sound effects of a camera when I do. Then I go to my Phantasy Star Online folder- the one that gets set up when you do the whole Ives' torrent readme thingy- and open the folder named "Backup". They're all in there

Remember to clean your directory periodically, you can only have 1,000 screenshots. After you fill up the directory your screens don't get saved anymore.

If I move them into folders in the Backup folder, do they still count towards that 1,000 or not?

I've been trying to upload screens so many times and failing that i finnally have to say it on the topic. Why does it say, "312. Your picture has not been uploaded,"?

I upload my pics at photobucket.com. Where do you link your photos from? I don't think you can paste the images directly in this forum.

PSO saves images as pso_image_000.bmp -> 999.bmp. If you copy files into that folder with appropriate names, they'll count towards the max. If you copy files with random names then they won't. Why you would put extra pictures there I don't know. >_>

Um, I think you're misunderstading me. In the backup folder I made a few folders named 'desktop worthy' or 'PB' or 'boss sequence'. I don't put pictures into the backup folder. I take existing screen shots and just reorganize them into those folders.

So, I'm just explaining that so you understand my question when I ask, 'are those files- the ones in my custom folders- counted towards that 1,000. Your answer explains that they are not, yea

Yes, it does. I wouldn't be putting random folders in backup, though. Just your luck you'll think you're copying a screen and you'll select one of your character files instead and delete it or something.

That post where most of the screen shots are mine is the post everyone can put their pictures in. I just happen to dominate that area because this forum doesn't get much traffic and much posters of images. It is too new of a forum still. So, go ahead and post there with me.
