Is the secret side quest only available on Ultimate?

I still don't know which files to delete on H&D and TMA3. on the PC.
The download quests are listed in the following order:

Soul of a Blacksmith
Lionel's Letter
The retired Hunter
Central Dome Fire Swirl
Soul of Steel
Hero & Daughter
Triad--Maximum Attack-3

However the files in the backup folder are numbered 004 to 057. Theoretically, files 014, 015, 016 and 017 should be H&D and TMA3 respectively. However, the sizes do not match: they are 5,32, 6 and 24 KB. Also they are dated 12/12/2007.

Judging from expected file sizes, I have the following possibiliies for H&D:

PSO--027 25/11/2009 34KB
PSO--044 09/01/2011 7KB
PSO--045 09/01/2011 34KB

And for TMA3:

I wonder if these others may be other offline quests, or some kind of offline progress. Do you have any ideas?
I am running on windows7/64 bit, if that helps any.

It is worth noting that PSO is not smart enough to know whether you already have a quest downloaded or not when you select one for download. That means you could click on H&D a dozen times and have PSO create 24 files, all of which are H&D. When you actually select Download Quest from the menu offline though, PSO is smart enough to actually check your quests, and if it finds more than one of the same thing, it only shows the quest once. I would guess that it shows the first one you downloaded, but it might also show the last one. I don't know. If you have all of those files and they are exactly the same size (right click on the file and select "Properties" so you can count the precise number of bytes), you probably downloaded the same quest multiple times.

Also, that reminds me of something else I'll post in the TMA topic...

So are all of those files downloaded quests? I certainly do not recall downloading that many times. If I delete all of the ones of the same size, then redownload, I should be ok huh?

I don't know what else they could be besides quests, and there's sadly no way to find out.

I finally fixed the darkness on the Dreamcast so it isn't completely black anymore, and I improved the range of the effect on PC as well. I also fixed a potential crashing problem in Ruins 3 and polished a bunch of other things, including raising the Meseta reward and fixing the tendency of the music to repeatedly transition in the dark rooms. The improvements also mean the quest requires 2 fewer VMU blocks than before. Remember to delete the old files before you grab the new version.

I forgot to mention that I also added a Healing Ring in Mine 1, so you don't have to play the entire quest with one set of traps (or return to Pioneer 2 to refill them) anymore on androids. I also couldn't resist fixing some typos I found, so I added those fixes, too. I wasn't going to bother mentioning it, since they don't affect functionality in any way, but since I'm already making this post, I'll make note of it. I don't expect anyone to redownload the quest for grammatical fixes, but at least I feel better now.

I'm pleased to announce that this quest is now available on Ver.1. (Yeah Treamcaster, you know you're excited. ;D) It's a bit simpler than the Ver.2 edition, so it "only" requires 72 blocks on your memory card. I found a bunch of little things that I wanted to tweak while I was porting the quest (as it's also available on GC now), so in order to keep everything consistent, I've updated the Ver.2 edition (DC and PC) with all the changes I made. There are no huge differences, as this was only a maintenance release, but you do get more Meseta now. As always, remember to delete the old files before you pick up the new edition.

Definitely exciting news for old v1 fans/ random v1 new players! Haha, you're right, I'm excited!
