The most common translation of the quest's name is "Sunset at the Secret Base", although since Sega never translated it, we'll never have an official name for the quest. The quest's title, "夕焼けの秘密基地" literally translates to "Sunset's Secret Base" or "Sunset of the Secret Base", so either your translation or the common one works.

Sunset at the secret base doesn't seem to be available yet, as there only seems to be 5 quests in Japanese, corresponding to the English ones. Sunset and Famitsu Cup seem to be missing. Crying or Very sad

Those are the only ones I have for PSOPC in Japanese, unfortunately (and the only ones that appear to be on Schtserv, for that matter).

Sunset at the Secret Base was never available for PC, or even for USv2 for that matter. It was available for EU and JP Dreamcast players on Sega's server, and that's it. It's a pretty pointless quest; all you do is talk to Rag Rappies and they give you junk. It was meant to be the reward quest for FAMITSU-MAXIMUM ATTACK-. If you read the quest description, it also tells you to delete the quest after October 30, although I'm not sure what the year was. I'd guess 2002.

I would have ported it, but it's not really worth porting. There's a ton of text that has to be translated since you don't kill even a single enemy in the quest -- it's all talking. That would a lot of trouble, and it would be a lot of trouble for nothing. The Chu Chu Fever you get has zero slots, so it's useless, and the Mags you get all have no Photon Blasts, so they're all useless, too. I already made Chu Chu Fever obtainable with slots in Prospective Horizons, and I have plans to make the Mags available with PBs as well. As such, I never saw a reason to spend time on this quest, since there's little point in translating or even porting something so mundane. Also, for the record, the banners that you see on Pioneer 2 won't work on PC, even if the quest is ported.

How about leaving Sunset at the Secret Base untranslated? There are guides for it to help understand what's going on, I think.

I think the chu chu armor is useful only if you can use garon's shop to add slots XD.

@Aaron_yume
I have all of the items except the "wings" mags, from when I had the quest on schthack's server. At least, I'm not sure if I ever got the chu chu armor back--I'd have to check. If not, MuCast has it.

I don't have the quest file anymore, though... Next time I get it, I will email it to myself for archiving purposes. Either way, I can use most of those items you request if we ever get online at the same time.

It would almost be easier to just post the guide for anyone who wanted to get the items.

Also, last I checked, you couldn't give chu chu fever slots in garon's shop, though getting a slotted one may be obtainable by other means Cool

Actually they did translate and modify it, I refer you to BB quest number 143

Aol cup -Sunset Base-

it is the same quest, modified slightly for aol advertising crap but quite a lot of the basic quest script is the same.
