Dreamcast Controller USB
As most people will know there is a usb convertor for ps2 controllers. So i thought i would look for a dreamcast version and behold i found one. It allows you to use your dreamcast controller to play PSO PC. Its called Trio Linker Plus II and you can plug anything from a ps2 controller to a xbox controller to a dreamcast controller etc into your pc and play games with them. Just letting the dreamcast lovers, who have moved to the PC version, know that there is an alternative. I've got one now and i wont be going back to that laptop touchpad bullshit.

Yeah I believe there's a couple models of the Trio Linker. You can get them from play-asia.com still I believe.

The closet, eh? I'll have to check mine out. Can always use an extra controller.

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
Unless I am mistaken, I believe he is pointing out that saying the Xbox 2 controller is the closest you can get to the Dreamcast controller in a topic about using Dreamcast controllers is rather retarded; i.e., the closest controller to a Dreamcast controller than you can use with PSO PC is a Dreamcast controller, which is evidenced by this topic. Whodathunkit?

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
It's about fuckin' time. You guys are hopeless.
And paws. Seriously. Even if it's a saying you don't understand because it's old... common sense. Molasses.... Syrup... Igloo... Frozen.. = doesn't move.
I said slower than that. I was making an exaggeration that you guys are slower than the freezing ice in the arctic. (If you don't get that one either, then perhaps I should just put the pistol to the head now and end my misery...) @_@

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
Aw crap. I don't have any good controlers (except for the Gamecube, which I will ONLY USE on the Gamecube) so I have to use a friends comp-only controler which he kindly allowed me to keep at no cost. I hate it, but I like it anyway.
Wing, I noticed the joke as soon as you said it. I just wasn't there to lol about it.

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
trust me, any controller is better then using the crapped KB controls on v2 >_>

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
Any crappy controller is better than using KB controls on any game. Well, except for turbo simplistic stuff like Sonic which only needs a single key.

Re: Dreamcast Controller USB
If you're talking like Old-School Sonic (Sonic CD FTW) then yes, 5 keys or something. Anything past that is more complex.
I like using the controller anyway. The only thing I don't like about it is when I play SRB2 (Sonic Robo Blast 2, amazing fan-game, don't ask how) and go into VS. mode (since it's small I play it on the online comp) I can't target like crap with it, so I use the mouse and keyboard (which is still about 7 buttons if you count moving the mouse and clicking it). But other than that, I like the controller.
