Ready to play again!

It's been a while, but I've been bitten by the PSO bug and have been itching to play again!

I can't seem to find any PSO specific servers... maybe I checked in on a day when the ship was down? I'm trying to get my husband into playing (yes, I'm a girl) and I know a friend in Texas- that had played with me on the DC Sega servers back in the day- that I will try to get playing again.

-I live in USA central time.
-I'm a legit player. (I don't use any cheats and only accept items from people I know are legit. I DO have Sonic characters and Rico skins, though. A moderator helped me get those)
-I have a few different hunters at varying levels. I'm partial to HUcasts, but have a force and RAcast as well.
-I'm up for regular play, challenge mode, battle mode, etc.
-I have played through challenge mode once fully and earned a spread, white ring, and yellow ring. I don't remember the maps but can print those out to follow along.

Welcome back! The people on Sylverant are very nice. I only play PSO PC and PSO ver2. DC though. I don't know anything about the other versions. I hope to see you and your husband sometime.

Thanks! We play PSO PC v2. I don't have a broadband adapter for my DC. I'm currently reading up on the forums of the drama I seem to have missed out on for these many months.

Say, now that I'm reading that I'll NOT be connecting to the SCHTserv anymore, is there a link to donate to the current pso server? Every month I play I like to donate for.

Plus, I have no intention to make money off of my work on Sylverant. I do it for fun, not for any sort of profit.

I'm glad to see new people joining. Yesterday I had the pleasure to play with some veteran who joined Sylverant for the first time.

Just the other day I was looking at the member list and noticing that you were still among the top-ten posters, even though you hadn't visited for more than two years. I almost dropped my teeth when I saw this topic.

I missed you too, Ives. And I really appreciate all the hard work you and everyone else does to keep PSO going! I will NEVER forget this game, this palace, this second chance I have to play on teams with other people who also love this game

Years ago on my work lunch break when I was doing some research on PSO on Wikipedia and found the link of private servers still up I cried tears of joy and couldn't wait to get home to get myself set up... and that was using code breaker, Dreamcast, and dial-up!

Then the parents switched our ISP and I decided to download the torrent to play on my PC instead.

I'm sorry to say that ADD, life, other creative endeavors, but especially ADD, made me lose interest in PSO and made me obsessed with whatever next thing in my life came around. (rotating obsessions are my life)

I hope THIS time around I can get my husband more engrossed in playing as well. I've got him all set up -except for the controller buttons - on his computer, I just need to get him interested without overwhelming him with all the small details. He has a RAcast at the moment.

AND, I have a friend in Texas that I need to contact to see if he'll join us.
