Ok i'm new here and have just got my pso working 
), but i wanted to know what the proccess for installing patch's, im gona keep trying to figure it out but help would be much appreciated

It's pretty simple, there are no patches. 
No official ones, at any rate. You can see some patches in the Download section of the main site, such as the Resist Mod, cusspatch, and see v1 patch, but they are not official.
