Because I seriously have nothing better to do, I've made a little patch to change the boring ring effects used for Shifta, Deband, Jellen, and Zalure to sparkles similar to those used in Ver.1. You can grab it in the PC downloads section of the site.

It's not quite as epic as the Ver.1 animations, but it's better than the boring standalone rings.

I see the sparkles well enough but I dont seem to be getting the wormy effects, what are they?

I'm pretty sure those sparkles reappeared in Episode 1&2 through Blue Burst, but my eyes fail me.

The Deband, Jellen, and Zalure animations are similar, but there is no rotation and they don't shimmer. The Shifta effect is red blobs on your hands in GC.
