This Place Seems Oddly Familiar...
Randomly messing around with some old teleporter, we came across a foreign land in the world of PSO2...
Pre-emptive comment: massive cut-off on the images, right-click with extreme prejudice! These are high-quality v2 screenshots
It's almost like all of us were there at one point or another. The footfalls and neon lights faintly resonant in the back of our character's minds...but a few things seemed particularly clear...
Outside of the shopping lobby, It was always a pain in the ass to find your way around. Good thing those lovely invisible walls keep us from wandering
It felt like something was off about this old memory though. I went to the Principal's Office to find some answers but it didn't seem like anyone was willing to give them.
Hell, this guy didn't even say anything! He just kinda sat behind the desk, watching intently.
Principal Tyrell seemed a bit off too. Must have been something to do with his hair though. In frustration, I tried kicking them, but to no avail.
Failing that, I traversed the city lights to the shopping area, where I was told by a denizen of the city that I'd meet the tekk...wait. Ever get that feeling of deja vu? Feels like I just saw these guys...
We looked for Ives but we didn't see him. Ah well! Maybe next time!

Re: This Place Seems Oddly Familiar...
After some adventuring on the planet below, we started to run low on healing items. Wanting to save a bit of meseta, we decided to spend 10 meseta on recharging our HP and TP.
Curiously, it seemed there was already someone waiting to recharge their health.
As he struggled, half-dead to pull 10 meseta out of his pocket, the two of us argued over who was next in line.
Unfortunately, the discussion had soured and became physical.
Ellie saw the kick coming, and reacted with a quick dodge!
It seems watching all of those matrix bullet-time scenes had paid off for her.
By the way, does anyone have 10 meseta...?

It's kind of sad that Sega didn't bother to improve the models or textures at all. It's basically just PSO with tons of bloom.

Yeah, that's what we were thinking lol. Some of the console textures actually look kinda worse in the principal's office by comparison but it was kind of a neat nostalgia trip going back with a new version of an old character. The only thing I was kinda hoping for was for the npcs to be there...even if they wouldn't do anything. Truthfully, p2 kinda felt barren without any of them, even if I had already met the tekkers xD

SHENANIGANS!
Yeah, I don't know.
That's what happens to me when I run out of things to do on there, lol.

Re: This Place Seems Oddly Familiar...
How's it going?
Oh, you're invincible and we can't touch you?
That's fine.. Soon enough, you'll slip and fall off a launchpad somewhere~

PSO2 just gets weirder and weirder...
It's like Sonic Adventure 2 meets Crazy Taxi meets Jurassic Park meets Transformers. PSO2 is hilarious, mainly because Sega actually seems to think that it's awesome...
