The chain system hates me, Teammates always stop after 6-9, on offline anyway, when i went online the chain system is your best friend.EvilMag wrote:I finally acknowledge the chain system.

Trust me I was a slow learner once when I got Monster Hunter Tri. After 300 hours I learned what Dash Juices does...

Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
So I finally dumped my iso and I can play again, Anyone wanna hit up online sometime?
Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
What's the difference between it and the "Infinity" one that's never being released outside of Japan? PSUPedia doesn't seem to have information on it.
Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
I'm guessing it's just like v2 to v1.Aleron Ives wrote:What's the difference between it and the "Infinity" one that's never being released outside of Japan? PSUPedia doesn't seem to have information on it.
edit: btw, It does run and you can go online with cfw.
Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
You can do anything with CFW now, since the master key or whatever was cracked I guess. That's why Sony's officially killed the PSP, just so they can release a new handheld nobody is going to buy because the masses are too busy playing Angry Fucking Birds. GameSpot ran an article quoting all these analysts saying releasing a new console is a stupid idea, because Nintendo can't even manage to sell their latest console at a 33% discount, and the new Sony one is even more expensive.
Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
I don't really care about what most gaming sites say or claim, since of course most of them are just idiots beyond belief, but looking at the psvita, it looks like a hit or miss situation, then again sony does have to do something against the 3ds, I just think the psvita isn't really a good way to go, sure a new handheld could do it, but with the 3ds price drop, who knows how they'll manage, Then again, like i care lol.
Anyway I only mentioned playing on cfw because I remember you saying something a while back on how you couldn't go online with cfw, probably because psn wouldn't let you connect with older firmware versions to let you put in the code, although you could download mediago and input the online code there.
meh.

Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
TBH I blame the lack games and it's price for the reason why the 3DS didn't do well.
You can get get a Smartphone for like $100 which is more powerful than the 3DS and PSP IIRC.
On-topic about PSP2: You can't go online with JP PSP2i with cfw but with Vanilla PSP2 US you can.
Also difference between Infinity and Vanilla is pretty much new areas, new weapons, Visual Lobbies, events, new difficulty called Infinity Mode (You can more or less call this the unoffical S2 difficulty.), Rebirth option, new types, new abilities, Forces get a buff, some PAs get a buff, Swords are fucking broken, and others.
Or as what hayame pointed out, a Version 2 of PSP2.

Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
You can only get smartphones that cheap with a contract , and the idea to bring n64 games over the the 3ds makes me a happy camper, especially mgs3 (obv not a n64 game, but just saying.), also zone of the enders 3 might be on 3ds also.
Back to infinity, do you has infinity EvilMag? I'd love to try it out, especially when i read about rebirths and broken swords.

Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
No, though I am planning on importing it since it won't come here to the US.
Not gonna bother pirating it since it still can't go online with a pirated copy.

Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
I wonder if anyone will make a translation for it. Of course, since the PSP is going to die shortly, I suspect Sony will be killing the servers within a year or so, anyway.
Re: So i've been playing PSP2 recently
I heard there is one in the works. But I can bet they will just take the text file from English PSP2 and put it into JP Infinity.
Much like what most hackers did for the DS Pokemon games.
