That one, in all likelihood, means that Vega's connection to the shipgate was interrupted sometime along the way between you connecting and hitting that ship select menu -- that's really the only reason that the statistics would have been screwed up or the ship select menu would be empty.

That seems to happen quite often with Vega's connection for some reason, sadly. Once it reestablishes a connection to the shipgate, that problem should work itself out pretty much immediately.

EDIT: It looks like the place that is hosting my server had a power outage or something like that. That explains why everything was so off there. I just restarted the shipgate, and will be restarting the ships themselves momentarily. Sorry about that... Usually when that happens, it should restart everything fully, but it looks like that when I last updated shipgate, I didn't actually install the binary for it. Thus, when it tried to restart shipgate, the ships couldn't actually connect to it. Anyway, the issue should be gone now. Everything should be up and running properly again.

The online quest, Garons shop seems to have developed a bug:
When you combine 2 items, one of them gets upgraded, but the other one is still there. This did not seem to happen previously. Although this is a "nice" bug, I think that this should probably be corrected.

Absolutely. 2 devil battles + 200 photon pts = 1 god battle + 1 devil battle
and 2 pb generate + 200 photon pts = 1 pb create + 1 pb generate.

I ain't kidding... the last one was done using ep disc on DC, but I don't remember if PSOPC had same problem.

After some testing, it seems that the system doesn't default to English after all. If PSO is set to another language, you have to use /qlang en to see the list. If you use the /login command with your sylverant.net credentials before you use /qlang, it will save your preference and allow you to play quests without having to retype the command.

It's a feature and depends on what you do in this quest and afair depends on the music discs too... Haven't played this quest for ages, but you can easily avoid superfast enemies when you do the quest right.

um no it's not, the quest is programmed to have fast enemies, i should know, it was an old opcode i figured out years ago and applied it to gc for lol.

If it doesn't have fast enemies in vhard and ult, the quest has bugged, which is entirely possible the other way too where on the pc version of the game the stats from the quest persist until you restart your game.

The quest speeds up Gigoboomas and the Shark series, but Booma and Gobooma have normal speed, IIRC. It's kind of funny, as the super speed actually makes the enemies easier to defeat. When they're that fast they spend more time bumping into each other and running in circles than they do attacking. Oh, PSO AI. Rolling Eyes

Hi.
I don't know if this is a server bug or a client bug instead, but when I'm in the lobby and I want to arrange items in the inventory, either by sorting manually or auto, when I change ships/ create a game, the items go back to their previous position.

There's also something else I wanted to ask, and I can't remember if this is normal or not. When I'm in a single game and let's say I'm in caves or ruins and I need to walk over a few switches to activate a given door and since I have nobody else to press the other switches, I cant go further in the game. Is this supposed to happen? silent

I didn't even think you were allowed to do that in the lobby... Dunno about that one.

That's normal. There are no map sets through online mode that can be completed by one person, however all map sets can be completed with two people.

You're allowed to sort your inventory in the lobby, although you can't change what you have equipped. Sorting is pointless though, since it doesn't actually save, as Treamcaster noticed. Sega probably just forgot to disable the option.

As for the buttons, they only stay down in offline mode. It's possible to do Forest and Mine alone, but Cave and Ruins require two people. Although there are doors that require four players, they are never required. They either lead to dead ends with boxes or are alternative routes.
