Serial number/Access key help

I put in my Serial number and access key and then my email, but then when i click accept it gives me a mesagges that says "Could not connect to patch server. Please check the DNS information under "network settings" and try again". Is there a new patch out or something for it? I have my settings on DSL. Any help is appreciated, thank you

HA!!! yeah i had that problem, then I replaced the online/offline patch and it worked..Atleast thats what I thought I did.

Pssh no offense but it's not like your name isn't noticable lol.

As for the patch replace, if you followed the "read me" you should have a back up folder with

Autorun.exe
online.exe
online-offline.exe
and PSO.exe

To get to this folder, go to my computer/c:/programes/ sega/Phantasy star online. Or wherever you installed it. Should just be able to copy and past them. Like i said, thats what I did and everything seemed to work ok. but Ives or MuCast or some of the veteren players might have something else to try.

You need the new online.exe to connect to the patch server and complete registration, so make sure you replaced online.exe with the one I included and then try again.

You mean as in put them in a folder? Because i already did that, i moved them to a folder (named "pso_exe_backups) and copied them and put the copies back in the original folder (not the subfolder named "pso_exe_backups", the one before that)

I might have misunderstood the README, i don't know

The original online.exe needs to go somewhere else while the new online.exe must be in the main game folder.

Which is why i don't understand why its not working. I put them in the "Pso_exe_backups" as stated in the README and copied them to the original folder. I'm not sure what i did wrong

I don't understand what you're saying. Put the online.exe dated 2001 in the pso_exe_backups folder, and put the online.exe dated 2004 or something in C:\Program Files\SEGA\PhantasStarOnline\. If it still doesn't work, make sure you don't have some firewall blocking the connection.

I'm really hasty to play PSO i've been thinking about it for almost 2 days now, but i still haven't received my Serial number and Acess Key( I respected what was wrote in the guide, to send an email with the code that needs to be there). So i was wondering, if the person who is responsible of those could send me them by pm?

I've noticed in the past that some emails seem to work more effectively in getting a response than others, while this personal experience, its probably just me being superstitious, but when I first got PC I mailed through a windows live account and got no response. About a year later I tried the same email again with no avail, I tried G-Mail and got responses back every time. Like I said probably just my experience though, give G-mail a shot though if all else absolutely fails lol.

I'll wait until this weekend or tomorrow since i sent the email this morning. If then i still have nothing, i'll try on Gmail. x:

Yeah I think the first set of serials I got took two or three days I believe, though on my second set it only took a day or so iirc, if you really want to get on pso that bad aside from offline mode, you can go online without serials, the only troublesome part being that you are assigned a random serial, and you could get banned until you register the ones you get xD

Hi, I have a DC but want to play the PC PSO. I have email from my personal Email and got no reply so try gmail and got a The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.' error.

If you're trying to play on schtserv, this isn't the place to be asking about it. The whole process there has changed lately. Look on their forums for more information.
