Help! P@#%ed off! Empty Help! P@#%ed off!

Post  Pumpkin Mon Mar 22, 2010 1:52 pm

i recently had to format my hard drive and re install pso, luckily i had all my data backed up, so far so good.
But! when using the loader i had always used (pictured below)
Help! P@#%ed off! 110
it would not recognise my characters, it said no data found!
So after a little faffing about i noticed the loader changed to this one:
Help! P@#%ed off! 210
This one recognised my old characters, but then the second problem occured, using the first loader i
could always get online no problem, but with this one i get this box:
Help! P@#%ed off! 310
No matter which of the two options i choose, it wont connect i get this:
Help! P@#%ed off! 410.
i have also noticed that the original loader this one:
Help! P@#%ed off! 110
now directs me to this
Help! P@#%ed off! 310
where as before it didnt, any ideas how i can sort this out?...cheers in advance

Were your characters registered? And if so, did you re-register them with the same serial? If not, there is your problem. No idea about the loaders though, never had a shitstorm like that happen to me. You could try one of the loaders in Ives' download section.

Never use the Online/Offline Hack For Full On Trial. Assuming you still have the virgin backups from before, my suggestion would be:

  1. Uninstall PSO
  2. Reinstall PSO
  3. Use the autorun again to re-register using the same serial number, access key, and e-mail address you used before
  4. Create a new character and go online, quit/save in the lobby
  5. Replace the newly created PSO_COM, FLS, GUD, SYD, SYS files in your Backup folder with the backups of your old characters
  6. Cross fingers, the old characters should work now

Always use either the loader included with the my Torrent, deathrabbit's, Term's, or Wiccaan's. Stay away from anything made by mophead. Razz
