Gameplay questions...

Since I've finally installed PSO for PC recently, I've been playing it for quite a bit and left Blue Burst aside for a while. As it stands, the change made me notice some differences which I was wondering if anyone could clue me in. First comes the apparent lack of a quick equip menu. In BB, I could cycle between several menus quickly without having to open the main menu itself, for stuff such as quickly equipping items. Is there such a functionality in PSO?

Second, I've finished Normal Mode yesterday and noticed something. My Mag lost a few Sync points after I beat Dark Falz and was treated to the end sequence, just as if I had logged out with the Mag in my inventory instead of using the Check Room trick to avoid said Sync loss. My question is, my Mag is ten levels away from level 200 and I'm wondering how am I going to handle those losses everytime I fight against Falz, since I don't think I can keep feeding the Mag after it's reached its maximum level. Is there some way to fix or workaround this?

As for the PSO hotkeys, they're just like that. Dunno if anyone released any patch to look like BB, never heard of it though.

If you're referring to the quick access menu, press Ctl+Up to access it, then press Ctl to scroll between weapons, items, and Techniques. It's the same as BB, just different buttons.

As for Mags, you lose 5% Synchro every time you either quit the game offline without banking your Mag, or if you leave a team online without banking it. There is no way to avoid Sync loss on offline Falz unless you fight him without your Mag. However, Mags do not become unfeedable once they reach level 200. The bars still move up and down and Synchro and IQ still change, the only difference is when a bar reaches 100 points it just sits there instead of leveling again.

Ah, I found the quick menu button Since I use a gamepad, the configuration is only slightly different between PSO and BB, so I tried a few combos and noticed that the 'trick' was pressing the secondary quick access buttons (the ones you use to choose between Photon Blasts) and the Chat Tools button. Spiffy

As for the Mag... So, it's possible that even at level 200, I can still feed it - and it will change Sync or IQ - even if the bars are filled? That's good to know

Yup, Mags have always worked like that. You can still raise and lower Synchro and IQ even when the Mag is level 200.

If you don't know which item your mag likes to eat, just top it off with star atomizers to make sure syncro and IQ both go up.

i was jw, i kno how to convert enemy body parts into weapons offline, but is there a way u can do it online, and have a chance of gettin any %s on em?

Dude. I've told you this a thousand times. It's Today's Rate. Beat all the offline quests then do Today's Rate online to convert... it's not that hard

ok wing, i did all the offline quests ( i even got the soul eater and the frying pan) now what do i have to do in todays rate to get the conversion exactly?..

You have to find the Microchip in Mine 1 and give it to Doctor Montague along with your monster part.
