PSO GC- Dolphin Emulation
Hello hunters,
I would like to know how's the state of emulation nowadays for PSO ep. I and II and PSO ep. III? (graphical glitches, game speed, intro movies...)
How difficult is it to set it up glitch free? What's the best version? Any tips on the programs that are needed for controller support, internet connection, etc.?
Thanks for your help.

Re: PSO GC- Dolphin Emulation
Dolphin works very well overall, but the BBA emulation is still slow, and there is some risk of crashing, especially when you load quests. Backups and the anti-item loss patch prevent you from losing anything important when you crash or EW, though.
You have to install the OpenVPN TAP adapter and bridge it with your Ethernet connection in order to emulate the BBA, and this is where most of the problems lie. It's hard to get it working, and if you use Windows 10, updates will break the TAP regularly and force you to reconfigure it over and over, assuming it works at all after the update.

Re: PSO GC- Dolphin Emulation
Just installed version 5.0 and I'm on W8.1.
After the intro logos and clock settings I get a black screen...
Btw, anyone knows if this gamecube to wii u conversor works fine with the emu?
Edit: Chose "No" when clock settings popped up. Problem solved. Now I get a black screen after I choose a character slot to create a new char. Any ideas?
Solved.

Re: PSO GC- Dolphin Emulation
I did ask Ralf about doing widescreen as patches, but I haven't tested any my port attempts yet. Playing PSO over a memory card SD adapter has bad performance and makes the music choppy, so you have to turn it off. PSO+ hates Xeno according to Mint and doesn't work for him, so YMMV.
You enter your serials when you select online mode and your character for the first time.

Oh I see. I will try playing around with Dolphin.
I got past he Snak screen.
Edit: Success!
Is there anyway to use the real keyboard to type, like we do in BB, or do we have to stick to the virtual one?
Can anyone send me the .ini file with the widescreen code please? Can't get it to work.

Re: PSO GC- Dolphin Emulation
Go to the controller setup, and select a keyboard as the controller for port 3, then configure it and click the button to auto-populate the key mappings.
