Weapon percents question.
Now, I remember speaking to someone about this 3-4 years ago. I know the weapons percents were pretty much dumbed down from the GC version on. Now what exactly is the difference in the percents in V2 and GC? Do the weapon percents in version add that numeric value to the overall damage towards a specific enemy (15% towards native=15 more damage to that enemy)? Can anyone elaborate on this for me?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Weapon percents question.
Ver.2 percentages modify your total ATP, meaning the number you see outside the parentheses. If you have 500 base ATP and equip a weapon with 500 ATP, you now have 1000 ATP, and a weapon with 50% will raise your ATP by 500 points, giving you a total of 1500 ATP. If you cast Shifta with that same weapon equipped and your ATP rises to 1400, now the 50% raises your ATP by 700, giving you 2100 total ATP. On GC, percentages only influence weapons, so a weapon that gives 500 ATP and has 50% will raise your ATP by 250, regardless of what your base ATP is or whether you have Shifta. Unfortunately, most of the good weapons in GC are guns, and guns on GC give almost no ATP, hence why damage percentages are useless.

Thanks for the info Ives and that's another reason why V2 reigns supreme
