Then he'll be really mad when PSO doesn't work. Cool

Thank you for clearing that up, aleron, but i'm so pissed! Mad I didn't need to reformat my sisters comp, the isos were corrupt, so i redownloaded them, and tried to install xp proffesional on the other comp, (not this one, i'm already done putting it on this Wink ) but that didn't work, so i restarted the comp and now i have to choose home edition over and over again when i turn it on again and again. Mad So i tried installing pso normally on home edit. and guess what? now it works, and i have a problem on my comp that i can't even fix!!! Evil or Very Mad This sucks! Mad but oh well; something good came out of it! Very Happy

But then it isn't really a Mac. Razz (Of course Mac isn't really an OS anyway...)

OSX is a skin, not an OS. You're really running Unix if you have OSX. Mad

Installing on any drive but C:

Post  Moho on Mon Jul 28, 2008 8:05 pm

Okay don't laugh -to much- I am trying to run the installer and I get the box that has you choose what folder to put the shortcuts in. I do not get an option to change drive but it does pull up the 'Programs' folder on my F drive where I want to install it but when I go to install it begins installing on my C drive.

My poor C drive is a 4GB running XP Pro with SP2 installed and that's all she'll hold, so I need to be able to install on the F drive, is there a way to tell it what drive to install on? I am running the install program from the F drive and it still tries to install on C

Wait! Before you say "Well duh! Just install from CD" ....my secondary IDE bus is toast, so I have the option of a secondary hard drive or a ROM drive and with the C drive being only 4GB..well you can see my options.

Any suggestions? Other than a new computer which is out of my financial reaches currently but I dream of a day, oh yes I dream!

Okay you may feel free to point and laugh now.

...In all honesty it's been so long since I've installed PSO PC I have no idea if you can install somewhere other than C:. Nobody has ever asked about it before. ~.~ If you change the C to an F but it still tries to install on C, I'd say your only option is to install on C:, then cut/paste the folder to your F drive and then use regedit to change the path in the registry to match the new location.
