confused here

been online this week, what i dont understand is this....tried a few different ships all showing various amounts of users, lets say for example SKYLINE (65) users, but when i get their there is only a couple of people about, who dont seem interested in doing anyhthing but bumming around in the lobby, and when i go the counter there are no teams/games showing, so where are all the people....are they ghosts lol, i just wanna good game of PSO, but no one seems interested lol

its sad that its not like the old days, nowadays, BRs has taken over this game and we don't play much since were busy.

maybe we should set aside a night, and have a blast for an hour or so, keep the real spirit of PSO alive

It is kind of a shame that the number of v2 players have dwindled so far down, typically I can find time to play a game or two though, if you see my character (sig) in the lobby, dont hesitate to ask for a game, im happy to play with people, though I prefer my games to be legit only.

P.S you may wanna post a character on your sig or otherwise that way its easier to identify people online, up to you of course but I see a lot of names from time to time and its confusing without clarification you know?

I only play legit, had a decent game last for a few hours, apart from the fact that the guy was letting off his PB every 10 seconds! which was a bit annoying lol

you know, if USv2 and jpv1/jpv2 could still go online I'm sure the community would grow a little.
Not much, but enough, 'cause people either
-don't want to buy psov2 pc,
-don't want to download anything,
-and that random guy who just fires up his DC after 10 years to see if it still works with pso, and clicks online mode for the heck of it and it works will probably play it again.

It's really a shame.

Then again, I heard about a dreamcast 5 years ago, and only started to love it when I got really intereted 2 years ago.

BTW, my 1st year owning a DC anniversary was last week.

Yeah..just type /legit when u r in team Your teamname will be shown in GREEN that means your team is legit

It doesn't block anything. It's just to tell people who are color-code-aware that you are a legit player and don't want anything to do with hackers.

The people who hack and don't know the color codes will think you are hacking and will try and join your team.

Something makes me believe it's more like..
Even if they know what the color codes mean, they will join anyway because they don't care. I've pretty much given up trying to use my legit character online because of this.

White = Ver.1 compatible
Orange = Ver.2 only

/legit used to block cheats, but it wasn't implemented very well and caused more problems than it solved, so the protection aspect of the command was removed.

another thing i noticed last night, was this: i joined a game and the guy who set the team only had forest & caves
on ult, but during the game he said "come to ruins 3" i thought eh? how come?....lo & behold there was a pipe by the bank leading to ruins 3, even though we hadn't played through the ruins

He was cheating. There are multiple trainers to allow you to warp yourself to whatever area you please. You can also patch pso.exe to open everything by default, or you can use a memory editor to warp yourself around.
