ATI developed a new graphics card so powerful that Gamespot doesn't even have the resources to test it. XD They have to link you to another review site that has better equipment, lmao. What the fuck would anyone need with a graphics card that can power three 30" monitors? Mad

here's something i won't be showing my friend kev. he'd buy it in a second. he doesn't need it (who the fuck does), but then again he doesn't need half of the things he has attached to his computer. his computer is already hooked up to 2 20" monitors and a 40" LCD, with a terrabyte HDD which he has filled maybe... 8% of so far.

he just likes to flex his hardware-cock

I don't even understand the purpose of multiple monitors. You can't look at more than one at a time, anyway. -_-

it's mildly useful in games, mostly for RTS games. supreme commander is a good example.

If there's so much going on at once that you need multiple screens, the game is too complex for its own good. I would get nauseated just looking back and forth over and over. Mad

thats precisely why many people like rts games like that; it's full scale warfare, like a gigantic convoluted game of chess with up to 8 players. you gotta think on your feet

Holy shimbles! I must get it!
I'll add it to my collection of random things that work! (yep, right up there with that 20yr old lappy with MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 bounce)

I hook my laptop up to my TV just because I can't stand playing games on this craptastic poorly lit screen. .-.

I'm using dual monitors at work and plan to go quad just as soon as I can find an inexpensive PCI graphics card with the correct chipset. One monitor stays completely filled with business applications. The other monitor gets used for everything else, which is a ton of other apps and such. Oh, and one monitor is a standard 17" and the other is a 40" HDTV. Odd as that may seem, the 40" is occassionally used for previewing product pics and images of such things as signs and business cards before we commit to having them made.
