PSO v2 PC-DC server Empty PSO v2 PC-DC server

Post  xl2k5 Sun Apr 06, 2008 1:19 pm

Hi

I often play PSO online, but I'm limited by my ISP to only 10 hours per month, plus I can't just keep the line busy during daytime.
My PC-DC server works, I can play Starlancer and Q3:A online just fine with it.
But PSO doesn't work.
It seems to time-out everytime.
I get the message "Welcome to PSO world" or something, then it says the line got disconnected.
I did forward the right ports with WinRoute, and put my Router at DMZ just for that, but it still doesn't work, the game won't connect.
I bought PSO v2 EUROPEAN version just for that (So that I don't need to mess with the HL check), and the cb codes are alright, since I can play with my dial-up isp just fine.
Anyone here knows what's the problem?
Anything I can do to make it work on my PC-DC server?
Thanks!

I'm not an expert on PC-DC servers since I never used one, but have you tried tweaking the MTU or something like that? Also, does your equipment register that PSO is trying to connect? You're sure you're using the EUv2 enable code+connect code? Can you connect via normal dialup connection?

I know that when I try to go to certain ships it says the line got disconnected. So, I only play the ships whos name appear in white, not yellow.... probably not related to your problem, but I do get the "line got disconnected" message every now and then.

It is rare that the "yellow" servers are up, that's why you disconnect when you try to connect to one.

About your problem xl2k5, I guess the problem is that you didn't specify the right IP address of the server in WinRoute. Visit Schtack's website for the latest IP (right now: 208.69.57.87).
