Skinning PSO PC
ok, I REALLY love making skins for this game, but I have only done it with BB so far, and I guess i was kind of spoiled using terras texture manager, could someone be as kind as to scribble down a quick guide for skinning pso pc or giving me a link to a guide?
I lurked a little but didnt really find anything.
now, I can get the texture extracted, edit it and all that jazz, but I am having a hard time converting back to the correct file type pso pc uses and then importing it and saving it. help much appreciated pso pc community DEFINATELY needs more active skinners.

Hello. I'm a PSOPC Skinner. Well, skinning in PSOPC to me is much easier than skinning in PSOBB. You just need to import/export BMP files - and use VMT, not Texture Manager. =D

If it doesn't save in the correct format, how my skins work, then?

Ah, I see. Good to know, thanks. But the characters skins work fine.

Re: Skinning PSO PC
ives lies,
vmt imports which ever format of pvr you put in, unchanged and allows you to save it. All you need is a photo shop pvr plugin and a knowledge of how to use the various formats.

Re: Skinning PSO PC
If you have the Photoshop plugin to save PVRs, VMT is useless. Just use AFS Explorer to put the PVR back into the archive, lulz. VMT's purpose is to convert formats, and it only has partial PVR support.
Re: Skinning PSO PC
direct prs, support, pvm support, bml support as well as afs and it allows export of existing textures to 32 bit bmp's with alpha.
