I got the serial number and access key.
I enter them in with my e-mail.
Then it goes to the user-agreement and I accept it.
But after I accept it, it opens a "PROGRAM UPDATE" window with an error that says "Could not connect to patch server. Please check the DNS information under "Network Settings" and try again."

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hope to see people online. ^_^

Did you replace online.exe, set PSO to LAN mode, and disable any software firewalls you might have?

Oh, well I replaced the online.exe and now I got passed that window.
I checked under options and it has ther serial number and access key!

I can get the game to start now and I got to select my characters.

But, after I select my character, it says something like:

"Could not connect.
Please check ISP settingsand retry.
GAME TERMINATED
Press enter key"

Thanks again for trying to help. ^_^

You probably didn't select LAN mode.

ah windows vista...not a bad os, but sometimes rough with playing pso, my friend had the same problem with pso, and there really needs to be a solution to this problem, as I know a few people who want to get on, I would check the schtserv forums and see if there is an answer to this, Ill post if I can find an answer Very Happy

The last person I remember having this problem had forgotten to replace online.exe, but are you running all the PSO files as an administrator?
