The point I'm trying to make is that Ver.2 players do not trade. There are three ways to play the game, and none of them require trading. You can either:

  1. Play using Sega's drop rates, in which case only around five useful items drop. The rest are so rare that you'll either never find them, or you'll find one of them every five years, so you sure as hell won't trade it unless it's something useless, in which case you'll give it away, not trade it. The items that do drop are so easy to get that trading isn't necessary, as almost any ID can get them, and they drop like hotcakes. An economy is not needed. Get a damn Pick on your own.
  2. Play using the EP, in which case all items are relatively easy to get, and you can get every item in the game with only two characters. As such, trading isn't necessary since you can find everything on your own.
  3. Hack all your equipment, in which case you obviously don't need to trade since you can have anything you want at any time.

The concept of an economy was brought about by Sega's decision to make rares semi-findable, but still a pain in the ass to get, and then to add more items to the game and make it so that each item only drops for 1 - 3 IDs, thus preventing any one person from ever getting everything the game has to offer without having 10 characters and spending way too much time. Ver.2 doesn't have that problem.

As for Meseta, you can go from zero to a million in a matter of hours. Meseta can't be used to purchase anything of value.

All the cool kids dupe their Rappy's Holiday points. Cool Nobody has really needed to purchase any points since long before Sega shut their server, hehe.

lol I dont see the point to duping them when all you have to do is buy like 6 then go to the north west to the catch the light room and get like 50 playing that like twice, then you're all set to go.

Maybe he'll give it to you if you do him a "special" favor...

Do you actually see them in the shop? Unless its confirmed then I have my doubts on agreeing to a "special" favor without first knowing what it is xD

Wow where do I start here. Here we go:

PSO PC/V2
Rare jobs felt...you know...rare.
Unlimited materials rocked
Hit materials
Nostalgia
Ultimate was...um...actually ultimate
Only 4 areas (more then enough for me lol).

PSOBB
Too easy (V502, smartlink and V101 anyone?)
Episode II sucked (2 rehashed levels from battle mode)
Better graphics
noobs that never played V2 giving you shit
Max mats was the worst idea of balance Sega could have come up with
Episode 4 was a complete waste and a sad attempt at adding challenge to the already vanilla ultimate mode

Those are my main points on V2/PC versus BB and I'll always stick with V2/PC.

aaron_yume wrote:Sadly as much as I'd rather be playing PSO PC, I've ended up making do with BlueBurst simply because PSO PC is totally unplayable on a keyboard (Especially a netbooks one). But since I currently can never guarantee an internet connection due to traveling, it's a real pain to only be able to play when I have an online connection and I really don't feel like having an online character and a separate offline only character running on a local server.

Guess I'm going to have to bite the dust and try and see if I can find a wired 360 pad somewhere in Mexico and then find a hopefully well seeded clean PSO PC torrent to grab. Whoever at Sega decided not to use WASD keyboard controls for PSO PC needs shooting.

Now if there is deathrabbit's BB controls for PSOPC yet to be found it would be useful for you. [Link]
