I need help registering
When I put both my PC serial and access key I get the confirmation box and click okay.
After, I get a PHANTASY STAR ONLINE End-User License Agreement, I agree and then it says
"Could not connect to patch server.
Please check the DNS information under 'Network Settings' and try again."
What should I do?

Re: I need help registering
Did you replace online.exe, and are you sure you don't have any software firewalls blocking PSO?
Re: I need help registering
I'm sure its not a firewall.
Replace it with what?

Re: I need help registering
Hey there,
I'm new and just tried to register and I'm getting the same message about DNS settings. Went and checked firewall settings and I did replace the online.exe file, cleared my DNS cache, etc...
Help?

Hello
Hello, Sufjan
What OS do you have?
for Vista I'm told that by turning off the UAC or User Account Control (the thing that always prompts you before doing something), the game should work, the reason this is is that this program hinders the working of the online.exe file you have hopefully replaced, hope this helps
for XP maybe try checking your DNS settings, its complicated and a bit hard to find, but if you can get to the properties, make sure you dont have any DNS IP addresses in the bars, it should be blank, remember this is for XP only, I dont know how to check it on Vista but the method above should work on Vista
