Windowed Mode Error

Post  samsta458 on Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:40 pm

I just downloaded the Windowed Mode file with the mouse fix. Yet whenever I try to click on something like say example Firefox. WHILE PSO is running. It doesn't click. It just goes back to the PSO window. Any way to fix this?

Have you tried clicking multiple times? Generally when you click on something the first time PSO pops back up, if you try again you can get it to stay down but it'll keep blinking in the taskbar. Since window mode is a hack it isn't perfect... u.u;

Is there a way to have an exe for windowed mode and an exe for fullscreen mode at the same time?

You have to switch exes to change modes unless you use deathrabbit's loader which allows you to select which mode you want.

Re: Windowed Mode Error

Im having a problem with the windowed download. I click save to the directory PSO is installed into (SEGA/phantasy star online) but when i go to view the file in the folder it is not there. When i try to download it again, the file appears in the folder and i am asked to overwrite. Even when i do it is still not there. I have tried searching for it then opening but an error message appears saying cannot open C:/programs/Winrar etc (file size is apparently 0 bytes). So i decided to click run instead of save then it will open the files in winrar automatically. When i try to extract the files to the pso directory it says access denied. It extracts fine to any other folder and then moved, not copied, the files to the pso directory but when i ran it, it couldnt find my character save data. Now i changed the properties of the pso folder to uncheck read only. When i go to check the properties again it has been rechecked. Is there any way to disable this from happening as i think this is why winrar cannot extract to the folder. Im running on vista which seems to make a difference as i did not have this problem on XP.

You're doing everything as an administrator?

Well i just set the permissions to let all users edit folders etc and now it works. For some reason it must not be recognising me as the administrator. Fuck knows ...

Vista is an improvement over XP, of course. Rolling Eyes
