PC vs BB

I think I'll stay with PSO PC then, I would personally rather enjoy my experience with ppl who are nice enough to help me in a time of need then wait till i die and take my weps

plus, whats the fun if you find a legendary rare item every 5 steps?
it ruins the game, furthermore, it ruins the feeling of victory and awesomeness when u do find that awesome rare nobody knows about lol

I'm glad to know I'm not missing out on much with not having a BB account lol

Let people know if you're gonna be on. Since bb is so popular, it's hard to find games on v2 even v1. It's pretty dead, so if you want to get a game going, you should let others know via pm or something.

Quite frankly... I have to ask if anyone is gonna buy PSZ for DS when it's released. If we do that... we could connect whenever, wherever, as long as you have a laptop handy. (Phantasy Star Zero) It would be pretty good... (When PSZ comes out, PSO will be revived!!!)

Back on topic, BB's are jerks. All they care about is fame. and fortune. etc. All I know is that if I have to get BB or go to jail, I would go to jail and bring a laptop to play PC. 'nuff said.

It's mostly just annoying. The lack of damage respite drives me insane. xD

Oh dear, after reading all that it makes me sad! I absolutely love the original, I used to think that the Gc and later Xbox version of PSO was good, that it was essentially the same with a few tweaks. I suppose at the end of the day I downloaded BB to get that back again, and occasionally dabble in the mysterious episode 2 heh. Perhaps Ill stick to PSO Pc after all.

lol yea, be careful what you mean, since both games can be played on PC and so many people mean BB instead of V2

Anyway, Ive played both series now and personally i find v2 to be a LOT more enjoyable despite the lack of players, mostly because the people on v2 arent really caught up in finding or hunting rare items to death, (except the hackers lol) it seems like the community of v2 is split, about 60% hacker and 40% legit, and while it is alright to hack on v2 it ruins the point of a game like pso, no? In addition to that, hunting and attempting to find items that are frankly unfindable also ruins it, at least in my opinion.

Dont get me wrong, Its awesome when you find a super-rare item but I dont believe that should be the point of a game like pso, it should be about playing as a team and enjoying it or hell, having fun playing it, whats the point of a video game if it isnt fun? Hunting uber rare items may have satisfaction to it, but if you spend nothing but play the whole game looking for this one sole item, spamming the same freaking level over and over again, chances are it will likely be less enjoyable than just playing the game.

I dont remember who mentioned this on a post, but they mentioned that people on v2 very rarely find uber rare weps so they have learned to enjoy just playing the game and if a rare wep drops, then yay. Many people on v2 go by that and its a lot more relaxing then getting heckled for rare items and PDs or whatever

Bottom line: If you enjoy hunting rares or playing with people who most of time, just annoying, then go ahead and play BB, if you enjoy playing the game as it was meant to be, but having fewer players, then go right ahead and play v2.

I actually mean PSO Pc, which is the direct port of the DC version right? Its just that I also played the Gc/Xbox port/update with episode 2 on it as well, but I've decided to stick with PSO PC anyway. Its more than enough fun, better than anything else about these days, and has no side effects like abrupt replies and snubbing =]

Sweet, while there are a fair amount of hackers, there are some legit players still on the server, I play legit(green name games) as well as a few others so feel free to pm or otherwise if you want to play

Well there will be more of a purpose to playing Ver.2 once I release the usable drops / better item stats / harder Ultimate mode, but the game still won't be popular since it has less shiny rarz to collect for e-penis boosting purposes.
