Folding@Home PSO Palace Team

Post  Aleron Ives on Tue Mar 25, 2008 2:15 am

For those of you who don't know, Folding@Home is run by Stanford University. It's similar to the Human Genome project, utilizing many people's computers from around the world to work to a common goal. Folding@Home works on protein folding, or the assembly of proteins. This assembly is not fully understood, so when you run the F@H program on your computer, it uses your CPU when it's not busy to analyze protein folding, and when it completes a work unit (WU) it sends the data back to Stanford and you get another WU. You can learn about it at http://folding.stanford.edu.

Anyway, I created a Folding@Home team for this site. If you would like to donate your work units to my team, set whatever username you like in your client and set the team number to 47300, the number of my team. If you want to see the team stats, you can go here: PSO Palace Team Statistics.
