Re: Forum Skin
Yeah, Sorry Guys.
The last time I worked on it, I tried to fix a few problems with in the CSS. The main issue I had was the form box in which you use to reply, make topics, etc.... It would type in FFFFFF (White) so you couldn't see what you were typing. No Lie, I spent nearly 3 hours trying to find out why. I edited damn near any part of the CSS that was FFFFFF and still no luck.
So, It was apparent that I would have to scrap the whole skin and start over just because of that. I suppose that was one of the main culprits why I haven't bothered with it for the past week or so.
However, Considering that this skin has a few features I have no idea how to add. I'll probably work off of this one just for the features and hopefully I won't run into another problem.

Sorry to hear that. I hope I'm not making you waste your time, lol. I had hoped this place would take off a bit more.

I actually enjoy doing this sort of thing (minus the CSS headaches lol) so I don't really mind regardless the outcome.
Just give it time, IIRC Schtserv's forum wasn't very lively at first. Things may turn around. I know it's probably already crossed your mind but maybe consider advertising your site or forum more often on the DC/PC boards over at schtserv. Or add a link to your signature, Your signature is waaay smaller than majority of the forum so I don't think it'll be a problem. But, I don't need to tell you that since you are the head moderator.
Where better to talk about PSOPC, than the source.

Re: Forum Skin
The trouble is we've always discouraged people from advertising their sites on the Schtserv forum, so as a moderator I can't really go about advertising mine because "that's different" or something like that.
I just try to PM people whom I think would be interested, but it doesn't work that well.

Re: Forum Skin
Hey Siku, I like your *testing* skin. Since the one we have right now is big s*h*, and that may not be that welcome to a few users that might want to register, we could have yours instead, even if it is temporarily.
Appearence is really important, and we all know that it makes a huge difference.

Re: Forum Skin
I think I might have gotten the skin imported, I notice the quote bubble doesn't seem to work right, it's white instead of black. xD

Quite a few things seem off, I'll send you the css stylesheet in a minute, and maybe try putting it in manually through the "colors" menu in the forummotion admin panel. But first right under the option of inserting a stylesheet there should be a option to turn off basic css, turn it off, that might be it too.
That bbtheme option they have really sucks lol. Oh about the header/banner, you just need to take away the "PSO Palace" in your forum title in the options to fix it.

Re: Forum Skin
I should find somebody to host a real phpBB forum... grrr. Maybe Crono will give me a secondary forum installation on his host since my main site is already hosted there. xD

Re: Forum Skin
Check your PM box on Schtserv, I would've sent you it here but bad habit lol. Also, if you want to center your tagline below the banner, just replace it with this :
- Code:
<align="center"><b>A haven for the Hunters of Phantasy Star Online Versions 1 and 2.</b></align>

Re: Forum Skin
Well with the basic CSS disabled I ended up with no background image. I turned it back on and now the BG is back... does everything look correct? >_>

Haha, that's odd. It does the opposite for me, I run into problems with basic CSS on with the Test forum. Aw well, if it works.
Yeah, It Looks like it's finally moved over right. However, I just noticed that I never made sure the code tag displayed right. I'll send you another css stylesheet that should fix it. I'll browse some other threads on the forum to make sure everything else is okay before sending you another one as well. And I'll PM you it, here lol.
Oh and, almost forgot.... About the member rank stars, I can probably make you one that will better fit this forum but you'll end up having to insert one each manually in the admin panel. If you don't mind, I'll conjur some images up. I'm just fresh out of ideas, pso rings came to mind however I'm already using them for the new post/old post category images.
So, if anyone has any ideas please let me know and I'll try it out. Or there's even the stars shown for the items in PSO's UI as an idea lol.
