While it's true that we can't add anything to the game (at least currently, but I don't exactly have high hopes), we do have the option of replacing some items with others, so I thought I'd bring it up. Ver.2 has a fairly good amount of useless weapons, most of them being Force weapons that no self-respecting Force would ever use. xD It should be possible to replace them with other weapons by using existing models and textures. Ver.2 specifically has a major shortage of Slicers and Shots which ...

I've released a little patch to make playing offline mode a bit more enjoyable. The Offline Map Pack will give offline Forest and Cave full spawns of monsters just like online mode. At long last we can be rid of the boredom of having only 1-2 enemies per spawn when there should be 4-10. You can grab the patch here.

Note that while this is currently only available for PC since it can be easily patched, I will include it for the Dreamcast when I finish the Enhancement Pack and release a ...

Just so you know, things are nearing completion. Ludicrous mode is finished, the item stat mod is finished (I should post up the final stats I used...), the item text for PC is fixed, and the shop quest is like 80% done. Mainly I just need to finish that and throw together a new Dreamcast disc, as well as alter the regular quests to give Photon Points so the shop quest can be used. Huzzah!

I have just spent... several hours creating my chart of revised item statistics. That took a lot longer than I expected. xD Rather than post the pictures here, I thought I would put them on a page on my site, and use the same method I used for the graphics pack; the original values are shown first, and if you mouse over the image, you can see the new values. Numbers that have changed are in bold.

This isn't something that gets talked about too often, but I think it should be brought up. Various PSO versions have different death penalties, and I think it would be advisable to look at them and perhaps change them.

First, we have the PSO Ver.1/2 penalties:

You drop your equipped weapon.

You drop your Meseta.

On the plus side, both of these things are "refundable", i.e. you do not lose anything permanently. If you revive you can simply pick them up again, and if you ...

I'm finally ready to release Ult Resist Mod 2.0. I believe I have improved upon the weaknesses of version 1.5 to make the most well-rounded version yet. You can get it here:

Software Development Kit, release 11b. As the name obviously implies, its used to develop software for the Dreamcast.

Note as well that the copyrights are still valid, but as well Sega Headquarters knows of its distribution through the web, p2p, and news feeds. So Sega dosn't really think of it as a real threat since Dev Units are scarce.

I thought I would post my Resist Mod topic here, as well so people get the same background information as the people on the Schtserv forum do.

The Ult Resist mod version 1.5 corrects a few bugs from the first mod, and adds a fixed resist file for offline mode, too. Now Forces can play offline as well as online. ^_^ You can get it here:
