I just met a really nice guy while playing PSO. He gave me his email address so maybe I can convince him to join us.

Good luck with the testing thingy.

edit: Well, if you don't need practice, then perhaps you can train me because I need practice. I love you

Hm, who? I haven't been on in ages.

Well I have... eh probably around 10 S-Ranks so I'm good enough that the term "practice" doesn't really apply to me anymore. That's not to say I can't get better, though. Wink

He's tonito250. I met him on the HI (Hispanic?) ship this morning and played with him for a few hours. Say, I'm thinking about logging on in a few minutes. If you can, log on just to exchange guild cards with me. Like a Star @ heaven

Q: Is Challenge mode cross platform with Dreamcast and PC?
A: Mostly, yes. Stage 1-8 can be played cross platform safely... Unfortunately, Stage 9 is not properly cross platform. If you play through the normal route the stage can FSOD Dreamcast users or crash PC users, so it is not advised to play Stage 9 cross platform. (There's more information about this in the Stage 9 walkthrough.)

So, all we need to do is try to go the shortcut way and eveyone will be fine?

Also, I played the forest/dragon part of c mode tonight *yea, first time* and after defeating the dragon and going back to the guild counter, I was promptly kicked out into the visual lobby. I think you might want to explain to others to expect that in your faq/walkthrough because I had no clue that that was supposed to happen! confused

Well yes I think if you go the shortcut route you'll be OK, but doing that is very hard beacause you need 8 shields and 8 weapons to do it. That means at least you must find 4 shields and then everyone must give theirs up (a death sentence for the Force on Dark Falz...). If you don't find 4 shields, then you can't take the shortcut and you have to restart the stage over and over until you do. It's not very practical.

Um... what do you mean? When you clear a stage and talk to the Guild, she says congratulations you beat Stage x and your rank gets boosted and it shows you your times, then you go back the lobby. How is that abrupt?

It's abrupt because I didn't expect it. I always thought that you play all stages of C mode in one sitting. I had no clue that you could play just one area and call it a day without any progress lost. That's why my fiance didn't like the sound of playing c mode for 4 to 7 hours; we didn't know we didn't have to do all those hours all at once.

Lol it didn't even occur to me that people might think Challenge worked like that. I'll look over the FAQ and see if I can clarify that as well when I put in the upcoming round of modifications.

Hey! I am new!

Post  Flash T.H. on Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:05 pm

Since I'm kinda new still, might as well join your team Aleron! BUT WE STILL NEED TO TRADE GUILD CARDS!

Stasher, we have to trade again, switching my character over to this comp made all my guild cards go gone.

I don't know much about Cmode involving maps/puzzles
but I've done enough to know the basic rules
I'd love to do it

If you read the guides on the main site they should help a lot. Print out the maps while you play until you memorize them. ;o

well, u dont have to complete each stage perfectly, i mean, we could prolly do it if we had a dedicated enough team and maps..and a lil of experience.

I just finished reading quite a few articles on pso palace website, and I must say I am impressed with my noobness!! Challange mode really is something we all should try! I never got any S-rank wep from it, and barely played it. What a shame!
So I am in, who wants to join me?
